APC may lose Lagos, Osun if… Prophet

By Ejikeme Omenazu / Production Editor, Lagos
A cleric, Prophet Theophilus Ajose, has predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will lose two more strategic states, Lagos and Osun states, except the party leader, Bola Tinubu, follows the path of godliness and righteousness.
In statement released in Lagos following the defeat of Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State by the Peoples Democratic (PDP) candidate, Ayo Fayose, in last Saturday’s governorship election, Dr. Ajose, who is Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikeja chapter, called on the party and Tinubu to restore the rightful candidates to contest elections in Lagos and Osun.
In the statement made available to Saturday Independent in Lagos, titled

“Tinubu, I warned you ahead!” Ajose, Presiding Bishop, Prophetic Dimensions Assembly, and foremost intercessor, referred to his past predictions in January 2013 and January 2014, saying; “The first in the series of the spate of losses to be experienced by Action Congress of Nigeria (CAN) operating under the coat and garment of APC is the loss of Ekiti State in the South West to the main political party, the PDP.
He recalled his 2013 prophetic revelation for Nigeria, during which he stated: “The Lord asked me to warn the then ACN against merger and alliances if it has to maintain the number of states it has in South West Nigeria. This was before APC was birthed or formed.
“The ACN will grow in more popularity and fame, but shall lose some states to the opposition due to the elevation of satanic powers and ungodly dispositions.
“The leadership of the ACN should be careful of merger and alliances that the enemy has prepared in order to erode its political fortunes.”
He added: “The Lord gave Asiwaju Tinubu one clear year notice. The merger was a major trap the enemy has laid for him, but he was not spiritually sensitive enough and his spiritual advisers (like the astrologers of Nebuchadnezar) could not reach the domain of divine spiritual records to unveil divine mysteries and precepts concerning the times we are in.
“In my 2014 Prophetic Revelation for Nigeria (released on December 31, 2013 and published in the Saturday Independent, Page 8), I also warned the APC of the impending legal, security and imprisonment challenges to be encountered by the APC leadership in 2014.
“The recent security face-off by the APC governors on their way to the Ekiti State elections is the beginning of these challenges.
?The political future is in deed gory for Asiwaju Tinubu and his APC. I singled out Tinubu because what really makes APC is CAN. “However, the inability of the spiritual advisers of Tinubu to understand divine precepts and heed divine counsel has resulted in colossal loss being experienced by Tinubu because the Lord in His mercy and grace gave the South West to ACN (Tinubu, if you like) and not APC, who are promoting ungodliness.
“When Tinubu merged ACN with others, he has unknowingly rejected that which the Lord has given to ACN as our God is a God of specificity of purpose.
“From the divine records, consequent upon this flagrant disregard of divine warning, it is imperative that APC will still lose two more strategic states in the South West Nigeria.
“The states of Osun and Lagos are marked in this direction unless Tinubu (not APC) engage the divine path of restoration and godliness.”
“To arrest the spate of impending losses and eventual decimation of the South West fortune, the APC must restore godliness and divinely revealed candidates, and through strategic level intercession and prophetic revelation, must carry its flag in both Osun and Lagos states.
“A Christian governor must be presented by any party in Lagos to win the election,” Ajose said

PDP to serve five govs court notice through newspaper

By Joe Nwankwo / Assistant Editor, Abuja
A Federal High Court in Abuja  on Friday ordered the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to serve five governors who defected from the party to the All Progressives Congress (APC) through substituted service by publishing the suit against them in a national newspaper.
It would be recalled that the court had set aside the earlier service of the court’s processes on the governors, which prompted the PDP to file an application pursuant to order 6 Rule 5 (c) of the Federal High Court Rules seeking to serve the processes on the governors by placing same in newspapers.
In a short ruling, Justice Gabriel Kolawole said: “I am satisfied that the plaintiff/applicant has disclosed good reasons to warrant the
granting of the application. And it is hereby granted as prayed; the applicant shall within seven days publish the suit in the ThisDay Newspapers or The Guardian Newspapers.

“They would be entitled to 30
days to respond. The case is adjourned to 22 September 2014, for mention.”
The judge had earlier upheld the claim by the governors that they were not properly served with the processes.
The affected governors are AbdulFatah Ahmed (Kwara), Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi (Rivers), Muritala Nyako (Adamawa), Aliyu Magatakarda Wamako (Sokoto) and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (Kano).

In his ruling, the judge held that PDP failed to follow the procedures allowed by law in reaching the defendants since December 10, when the court action was instituted.
The court agreed with lawyers to the governors that they had not been served with the court papers and, as such, the court could not assume jurisdiction until the plaintiff (PDP) had done the needful and put its house in order.
The purported service of court process allegedly effected at No. 40 Blantyre Street, being the new office of the APC was declared illegal, invalid, defective and was set aside by the court for not having the court endorsement.
Justice Kolawole held that the issue of service of originating summons by the plaintiff on the defendant was fundamental before the court could take further action against the defendants.
He asked PDP to formally write the court and attach the evidence of proper service of court processes on the defendants before any action could be taken against the governors.
The PDP had informed the court that in line with the court order obtained on December 13, 2013, the originating summons was taken to No. 6 Bissau Street, Wuse II, but discovered that the APC had vacated the office and relocated to No. 40, Blantyre Street, Abuja, as the new office.

PDP claimed that the originating summons and other court papers were subsequently taken to the new office for onward delivery by the APC to the governors.
But Justice Kolawale agreed with the governors that the service at 40 Blantyre Street was invalid, ineffective and faulty because the order of the court for service did not embody the address.
The judge said that what the plaintiff (PDP) ought to have done was to come back to the court to legally vary the order of service before serving it at 40, Blantyre Street, being the new APC National Secretariat.
Justice Kolawole said that PDP would have done well if the service of the originating summons had been served on the Attorney General of the affected states since such service could hardly be faulted in law.
He, therefore, ordered PDP represented by Dr. Alex Izion SAN to do the needful before the case could be revived by the court for adjudication.
