Ambrose drums support for Nigeria at C’wealth Games
Super Eagles and Glasgow Celtic defender, Efe Ambrose, says he will take time off his busy schedule to cheer Team Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games.“Have concluded plans with my family and we are all going to the Stadium to cheer Team Nigeria,it’s my own support to see my Nation do well.” Ambrose said.
He believes Nigeria has the capacity to win medalx at the games.
“In a game like this, winning medals is fine and good but I was at the Olympics in Beijing and what I learnt is that something the joy of participation is bigger than having a medal round your neck”
“Primarily is all about friendship, love and unity but I sincerely hope we win medals to make an impression and let the World know that Nigeria is blessed.”
Ambrose helped Celtic to seal qualification to the next round of the UEFA champions League qualifier on Tuesday winning 4-0 against KR Reykjavik to advance 5-0 on aggregate.
