South east government plot against insurgency

The South East Governors Forum (SEGF) on Sunday broke its long silence over the fear of attack by the Islamc Sect Boko Haram, when it announced that the five states have resolved to have joint security formation for the zone.
According to the Forum chairman and Governor of Abia State, Theodore Orji arrangements, have reached advanced stage for the procurement of security equipment adding that situation was received from a vendor of international repute for the supply of security equipment.
Orji also congratulated the South East delegates to the National Conference, for the Progresses made so far especially, the creation of more states to the zone announcing that a South East stake Holders meeting would be convened after the  confab in order to look into other matters of interest to the zone.
Among other issues discussed the forum also agreed that the leadership of the forum should be rotational for one year in alphabetical order of State names.
The Governors reviewed progress in agricultural production being made in each of the States of the Zone and resolved to do more to increase food production and employment opportunities.
