Military Set For Final Push Against Boko Haram
Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah, has said the war against the Boko Haram terror group in the North-East will soon be over, with the deployment of more troops to the region.
Minimah disclosed this on Friday during the graduation ceremony of Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers from the Nigerian Army Warrant Officers Academy, Jaji, Kaduna State.
He expressed satisfaction with the brief he got from the commanders during his operational visit to troops battling the Boko Haram terrorists in Borno and Adamawa states on Thursday.
Minmah said that intelligence reports at his disposal showed that the troops would soon wipe out the insurgents from all parts of the region.
