According to CNN, "Dr. William D'Angelo, a neurosurgeon who was treating Bush at Maine Medical Center, had estimated it would generally take someone of his age about three to four months to recover from the injury."

According to @georgepbush, Barbara Pierce Bush declared: “A slip and fall is not going to take out a World War II pilot."

Last year, the World War II pilot went skydiving to celebrate his 90th birthday. However, he was also hospitalized the same year after suffering a shortness of breath. As previously reported, two years prior, he was in the hospital for several months after contracting bronchitis.
