Keshi speaks, says focus should now be on Amodu

Lagos - Following his sacking as the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has advised that the focus should no longer be on him, but on the ‘new’ coaches and Nigeria’s next Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania. The ‘Big Boss’, who was fired from his post as the Super Eagles coach on Saturday by the Nigeria Football Federation, says people should stop talking about him and start talking about Nigeria’s qualification chances in Tanzania. Also read: Amodu disagrees with Pinnick on Keshi “You have new coaches now so you should stop talking about Keshi and start talking about them,” Keshi said on a radio interview. “They shouldn’t focus on me anymore, rather they should focus on the team and the next Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and how to win there and the other matches. “Let me just be, you should focus on the team and the people in charge now. Let me enjoy my family, I just came in now, let me spend time with them. I don’t want to talk about Nigeria now,” he added. The 53-year old, who was only reappointed on a two year deal in April is presently in the United States of America where his family is based -Soccer Laduma
