Lawmaker assures on completion of abandoned bridge

By Chioma Onuegbu Uyo—THE member representing Mbo constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mr. Samuel Ufuo, has promised to attract government attention to the completion of the abandoned Ukontigha bridge in Uda community as soon as possible. According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr. Mbosowo Essien, yesterday in Uyo, the lawmaker gave the assurance at the project site while inspecting the extent of work done so far. The statement added that Ufuo, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Labour and Productivity, urged the people to be patient, adding that the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration has indicated interest and commitment towards the completion of the bridge and improving the quality of roads in the constituency.
