Niger Delta Avengers strike again, blow up NNPC pipeline in Akwa Ibom

Uyo - The Niger Delta Avengers, the militant group which has vowed to reduce Nigeria’s crude oil production to zero has blown up an NNPC Pipeline in Akwa Ibom State.

The militants said it carried out the attack at about 4:00am on Thursday, a move that is sharply in contrast with the group’s earlier stance on embracing dialogue on certain strict conditions.
The group on its twitter handle claims that: “At 4:00am  Niger Delta Avengers blow up NNPC Pipeline in Oruk Anam Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State.”
